OnboardCentric employee onboarding software easily automates the assignment of specific documents, forms and tasks to different categories of new hires. Packets are assigned to the new hires with traits that match the traits associated with each packet. At ExactHire, we call these traits “FlexFields.”
For example, your exempt, C-Level executive new hire in Texas will have a different set of documents, forms and tasks than your new part-time, nonexempt machine operator in Ohio. Based on the FlexFields associated with each of these new employees, OnboardCentric will deliver the correct digital onboarding experience every time.
The “Everyone Packet” contains forms, documents and tasks that every newly hired employee in your organization needs to complete. Any items included in the Everyone Packet will be assigned to every new hire who is added to OnboardCentric by an administrator. While different for each OnboardCentric client, common items found in the Everyone Packet include the Form I-9, Federal W-4 form, employee handbook and the direct deposit authorization form.
Create additional packets for unique documents, forms and tasks intended for new hire sub-groups. For example, if part-time hires receive two unique forms, create a “Part-Time” packet with those forms assigned. Since part-time hires are a sub-group of all hires, they’d automatically receive items in both the “Everyone” and “Part-Time” packets. OnboardCentric automatically assigns the right packets to each user, based on FlexField values assigned by an administrator.
